I stumbled upon this jewelry company who utilizes old sealing wax motifs in their jewelry. They just opened in a cool neighborhood in L.A., right around the corner from where I used to live, on Third Street, in West Hollywood. The jewelry is reasonable and made from reclaimed gold and silver. Take a look at http://www.pyrrha.com. All the symbols have special meanings, too.

Take a look at this adorable chain link toggle bracelet and charm, for example. You pick the date on the cool calendar charm that's meaningful, and then you mark it with a gemstone of your choice and color.
Visit www.notjustanyoldday.com. and pick from a selection of items that will make memories for years. This bracelet in sterling is $166.00. Think about it for Mother's Day, Birthday, First Communion, Bat Mitzvah, etc.

HOW TO SAVE $8,670.00
According to Page Six, Sexy Selita Eubanks, a Victoria's secret model, was spied at the fancy Borgata hotel in Atlantic City. Apparently, she was browsing for a diamond band, bought one and said, "I'm marrying me, I'm engaged to myself," before plunking down $9,000 for the sparkly diamond band...hmm, those of us in the know, know she could of saved $8,670.00 by buying herself an Ah Ring@ from www.divinediamonds.com!

Simply Charming
I've just discovered a fantastic book The Charm Of Charms by Jade Albert and Ki Hackney. Stunningly photographed, wonderfully written -- it's absolutely the last word on charms and charm bracelets -- their history, their meaning, their owners. If you're already a collector, you'll go crazy and if you're not, I guarantee you'll start collecting immediately. Charms can range from inexpensive to stratospheric, but they have one thing in common -- it's all about the memories.
The Charm of Charms is published by Harry Abrams. www.amazon.com
